OG Bierstadt Members Enjoy Great Success at EWWBK Trial!

On September 25, 2011, a number of the OG Bierstadt members traveled to Cedar Grove, Wisconsin to compete in the Eastern Wisconsin Working Boxer Klub's Fall Schutzhund Trial. Despite a day of intermittent icy rain, the abundant food and hospitality were warm and welcome. Great thanks to The Host Klub, to Event Organizer Minna Nousianen-Becher, and a special thanks to Nancy Nestler, who graciously opened her own grounds and training facilities for the conduct of this Trial.

We are pleased to report the following results from the OG Bierstadt member competitors:
Minna Nousianen-Becher and Ursula (Boxer) - FH
Chris Becher and Raven (Dobe) - IPO1
Christine Ponder and Havoc (Giant Schnzr) - TR1 and OB1
Bruce Heck and Blue (GSD) - BH
Molly Summ and "G" (GSD) - BH
Minna Nousianen-Becher and Caelon (Boxer) - BH
Charles Konkel and Aramus (GSD) - BH

Nancy Nestler and Johann (GSD) also competed this day, taking a shot at their SCH3. Johann performed quite well in the Obedience and Protection phases, but they struggled a bit at the start of their Tracking phase, and it turned out to just not be their day. We have no doubt we'll be celebrating this team's SCH3 success soon enough!

The following OB Bierstadt members also reported that they earned their Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) certificates on 9/15/2011:
Molly Summ and "G" (GSD)
Erick Summ and Abby (GSD)

Congratulations to all! See you again soon on the field!
